Aim for Self-Sustainability and Environmental Respect

A new step towards sustainability has been taken by our company through the Fondo Energia project, an ambitious initiative that has seen the installation of a new 190.00 kWp photovoltaic system, optimized for maximum efficiency and environmental sustainability. This extraordinary move towards sustainability has been made possible thanks to the support of the European Union through the POR FESR 2014-2020 program (Axis 4 - Action 4.2.1), which allowed the realization of a photovoltaic self-consumption system, consisting of high-efficiency photovoltaic panels and string inverters for energy conversion. Each installed solar panel is a step towards energy self-sufficiency, a tangible demonstration of the potential of renewable resources in shaping our future.

In our industrial process, the massive use of electrical energy is essential, especially for the natural storage of wines and musts, kept constantly at temperatures below 0°C through refrigeration systems. Cold conditioning allows us to preserve our products naturally, maintaining quality without resorting to chemical products.

Thanks to this new system, we are able to produce approximately 70% of our energy needs, significantly reducing our environmental impact. This initiative, combined with modern refrigeration systems, not only reduces energy costs but also results in a significant saving of water for every liter of wine processed.

The ability to adapt to market changes is fundamental for our winery, which has been interpreting the Reggio territory with its wines since 1911.

The new photovoltaic system embodies our commitment to a sustainable future. By combining tradition and innovation, we preserve the quality of our products, respecting the territory and the environment on a journey towards a more aware community and a better world for future generations.
